About the Exhibition
This solo exhibition brings together a series of paintings that reflect on environmental loss and the far-reaching impact of human industry on the natural world. Julie’s work considers landscapes altered beyond recognition, ecosystems under strain, and species pushed to the edge by mining, oil extraction, deforestation, pollution, industrial agriculture, and monoculture. These paintings do not dwell in despair, but invite awareness, asking us to confront the cost of progress while holding open the possibility of a better future through collective action.
